HTML Newsletters
Alot of freelancers shy away from the dreaded eDM, but I actually quite enjoy them. During my time at Myspace, I was responsible for the delivery of millions of eDM’s every week to the Myspace Australia and New Zealand users, so I am familiar with the need to create effective designs that work in all the major mail clients (including the dreaded Outlook 2007).
Help defining your goals
I treat the creation of newsletters exactly the same way as I would treat a normal website build, by creating wire-frames and defining the clear objectives of the newsletter before designing the look and feel. Once the design has been approved, I then use best practice HTML markup, that is tested thoroughly through all the major mail-clients before sending it (if needs be).
You control your frequency by creating a templated design
I can create bespoke templates that will enable you to add/edit/delete content in your future newsletters, allowing you the power to send newsletters as you need to.
