In order to get the best possible outcome, I like to take the time to understand your business and your goals. I’ll help define clear objectives, and ask the right questions to help get the best possible brief together for the project. What content will be contained in the website? How will the website be used? Who will use it? Who are your competitors?
Designing for the end user
I always design with the end user in mind, and always ensure that the information can be achieved quickly and efficiently. I like develop to the high W3C standards using a mix of XHTML/CSS, PHP and jQuery.
Developing with scale in mind
I’m a hand-coder, that uses best practice methods at every opportunity. I build with scalability in mind, that allows for ease of maintenance in the future.
Content Management Systems
My chosen CMS for clients is WordPress, mainly because it’s easy to maintain, it ranks highly in terms of SEO, and it’s very adaptable and customizable. Oh, and it’s free.
